Restore Proper Pain Free Movement

Positional Release therapy, also known by its parent term Strain Counter Strain, is a therapeutic technique that uses a position of comfort of the body, its appendages, and its tissues to resolve somatic dysfunction.  Through positioning the body and tissue in positions of comfort, the neurological system can be manipulated to interrupt the pain spasm cycle and over time, to reset the resting length of tissue in a "normal" range, which promotes increase in strength, performance and function. Positional Release Therapy helps to alleviate chronic and acute pain patterns, bringing the body back to a normal state of ease and comfort.
